| Job Summary | The College of Arts and Science is seeking an Administrative Services Assistant Principal to support the Dean's Office and the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Advancement. This position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for Faculty Affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences, serving as the primary lead to the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Advancement. The role manages the annual Faculty Merit Evaluation and Review (FMER) process and the annual promotion and tenure (P&T) process. This position provides confidential senior-level administrative support on a variety of initiatives including faculty grievances, faculty appointments and letters, professorship appointments, administrative appointments, and P&T issues and grievances. Additional responsibilities include managing faculty processes including but not limited to sabbaticals/leaves, faculty searches, faculty progress reviews, and faculty awards. The Administrative Services Assistant Principal ensures consistency in office operations by drafting correspondence, editing reports and proposals, maintaining website and communication channels, coordinating events and travel logistics, and serving as a liaison with faculty, college leadership, and campus partners. Success in this role requires strong organizational and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage multiple complex priorities while fostering collaborative relationships across the university. |
