- Advanced Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing
Description
The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications at the Advanced Assistant or Associate Professor level in Marketing to begin Fall 2026, subject to budgetary approval.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead the PhD program in Marketing-Analytics to attract top-quality doctoral students.
- Mentor junior faculty to publish in the top academic journals and present their research at the top marketing conferences.
- Develop and teach analytics or applied analytics courses that expand on the analytics electives currently offered. The standard teaching load is 2+2 per academic year.
- Advance their own research program with publications and presentations at the top-tier journals/conferences.
- Contribute to the School, the University, and the professional community by actively engaging through service by involvement in committees, shared governance, and review services.
The salary and benefits package are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The start date for the position is August 17, 2026.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field.
- Currently hold a position as assistant professor or associate professor.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a faculty member at their current institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful track record of scholarly research in the quantitative/modeling/analytics areas of marketing or an allied business field, as evidenced by published articles, submitted manuscripts, conference presentations, and work-in-progress.
- Experience teaching PhD seminars, serving on PhD committees of doctoral students, or mentoring doctoral students.
