| Job Summary | The Counselor Education Program in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Counselor Education (EDSCE) in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a special title series assistant or associate professor position in Counselor Education. This tenure-eligible position is a nine-month appointment, effective August 15, 2026. The Counselor Education program offers specialties in rehabilitation counseling and clinical mental health counseling for distance learning at the master's level, counselor education and supervision at the doctoral level, and interdisciplinary disability studies at the undergraduate level. The Counselor Education graduate programs are CACREP-accredited. Faculty provide exceptional education and training to all our students and affirm professional identities. Special title faculty members within the EDSCE are highly valued, significantly contribute to teaching and training within the program, and serve in important leadership roles within the department. The individual chosen for this position must meet the following minimum criteria:
