Description

The Almira School District is seeking a versatile and student-centered K–8 Endorsed Teacher to join our team. The position will most likely be for middle school ELA, Social Studies and elective classes. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction aligned with state standards, foster a positive learning environment, collaborate closely with colleagues, and contribute to a close-knit school community.

Requirements

Required

Valid Washington State teaching certificate 
K–8 endorsement 
Ability to teach middle school ELA and Social Studies
Knowledge of best practices in elementary and middle-level instruction
 

Preferred

CTE & Middle School endorsements
Experience teaching in a 6th–8th setting
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
Ability to work collaboratively in a small school or rural setting
Strong interest in Art, STEM and/or CTE
