- Clinical or Tenure-track Faculty - Prosthodontics
Description
The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics.
Major responsibilities include:
- overseeing the treatment of patients and education of dental students in the prosthodontic dental student clinics;
- teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level courses; and
- treatment of private patients in the department’s intramural faculty practice.

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- DDS/DMD or equivalent; and
- by time of appointment, Master's Degree or Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA/CDAC-accredited program.
Desirable qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience implementing prosthodontic curriculum and/or teaching innovations.
- Clinical experience through private practice, military service, or institutional practice.
- Proven academic teaching and clinical supervision experience.
- Proficiency with digital dentistry software, including CAD/CAM technology.
Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
