- Commercialization Counselor
Description
The Commercialization Counselor (CC) serves as a key resource on campus to support and advance commercialization activities. This individual works closely with faculty, staff, and students to encourage innovation, assist with intellectual property (IP) matters, and connect inventors to commercialization pathways. The CC also participates in statewide TTAC activities, including professional development and network meetings, and serves as the primary liaison between the institution and LaunchTN for commercialization services.
Requirements
Master's Degree with one (1) year of experience or bachelor's degree with four (4) years progressively responsible experience. With the master's degree: one (1) year of experience in tech transfer, research administration development, public relations, customer service/support, or another related field.
