Description
*Dean's Assistant/Event Coordinator, SSOBSaint Francis University invites applications for a full-time Dean's Assistant/Events Coordinator in the Shield's School of Business. The position is directly responsible to the Dean to perform a variety of executive-level, complex, responsible, and confidential secretarial and administrative support duties in support of school operations, compliance, and accreditation.
Associates degree or at least 2-4 years of secretarial/administrative experience at the executive level required. At least two years of higher education experience are preferred. Proficient grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills; accurate data entry skills; proficient skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.). Ability to problem solve. Strong organizational, communication, and office management skills along with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision on a wide range of program tasks. Strong understanding of workflow, process steps, and can manage their own work to unit performance standards. Knowledge of Canvas Course Management System and Jenzabar or similar systems preferred. Knowledge of web page authoring. Familiarity with Canva and social media is necessary, as well as planning and coordinating special events and activities.

* Dean's Assistant/Office Manager, DPS Saint Francis University invites applications for a full-time Dean's Assistant/Office Manager for the Division of Professional Studies. The Assistant/Office Manager performs various administrative support and coordination of duties relating to and supporting the Division of Professional Studies (DPS). The Assistant/Office Manager will handle office functions including: greeting visitors, handling general office emails/phones for DPS and College in High School (CHS) programs, order supplies and manage DPS storage room, ensure adequate supply of marketing materials for CHS and DPS, coordinate credit for prior learning, type letters/reports, maintain spreadsheets with employers contacts, process new DPS student IDs, assist with special projects for any DPS team member, order and handle new PCT students supplies and information, assist the Dean with employer partnership management, and other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree and/or 3+years of office experience preferred working in an office environment such as education, admissions, customer service, sales, marketing, account management or other related area. Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills. Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written, Must exhibit a high level of professionalism. Experience as a team player with the ability tow work with all ages, backgrounds, and constituents. Ability to coordinate events, projects, and programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Self-starter able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multitask. Demonstrated skills with technology and social media platforms. Ability to create reports, letters, excel sheets and other documents using Microsoft Office. Driver's license required.
