Georgian Court University, a Catholic institution in the Mercy tradition, invites applications for Director of its CSWE-accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program.
The Director provides strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and instruction for a growing BSW program, ensuring academic excellence and alignment with CSWE standards. Responsibilities include curriculum oversight, accreditation and assessment, faculty leadership and mentoring, student advising, community partnership development, and teaching a 12-credit per semester load.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in social work education, commitment to social justice and Mercy values, and experience with accreditation processes.
Required Qualifications:
- MSW from a CSWE-accredited program
- Doctorate in Social Work or related field (preferred)
- Minimum two years of full-time higher education teaching experience
- Leadership experience in social work education
- Knowledge of CSWE accreditation standards
- NJ licensure (LCSW/LSW) or eligibility
