Job Summary
Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Endowed Chair should be a senior faculty member with a well-established record of external funding and publications.
- The scholar's experience should include health disparities, work with underserved populations, social justice, public policy, access issues or other topics.
- The applicant should also have experience in overseeing research teams and mentoring new research faculty as well as students.
- Collaborate in strategic planning and administrative oversight for research
- Interact with government and industry in Maryland and beyond and advocate for and promote MSU in national and international forums.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics
Required Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Doctoral degree in public health, social sciences, analytics or related field from an accredited college or university
EXPERIENCE:
Experience should include at least 10 years of research experience in areas of public health, social justice or related fields
