Pay Range:
The compensation for this appointment will range TBD annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
Position Summary:
The College of Nursing at California Baptist University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in the graduate program. Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service through the integration of the Christian faith and learning. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service activities that support the mission of the College of Nursing and the University. A doctoral degree in the field indicated is preferred, although candidates with a master’s degree in nursing and a specialty concentration in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner may apply. Applicants who are working toward a terminal degree may be considered.
Qualifications:
University teaching experience with a minimum of 2 years of AGACNP clinical practice is required. Applicant must have an unencumbered California registered nurse license, NP certification, and national NP certification.
Teaching Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include classroom and practicum teaching primarily in the graduate nursing program. Faculty will make site visits with students in order to assess and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum and teaching/learning activities in accord with accreditation and state regulatory standards and requirements.
