Description
The Department of Medicine, Vascular Medicine Institute, is seeking a Visiting Scholar to conduct research in the lab of Dr. Stephen Chan. This appointment will function as a skilled scientist in studying in vitro cellular platforms, rodent models of pulmonary hypertension, and inducible pluripotent stem cells relevant to this disease. They will perform experiments in the wet lab, analyze data, write manuscripts, and present scientifically at local and international conferences. They may have other assignments associated with this research that the PI, Dr. Stephen Chan, as the principal investigator, may request.Minimum Requirements - MD/Ph.D. specializing in Cardiology. Expertise in clinical management and scientific investigation of molecular mechanisms of pulmonary hypertension.
