We are looking for a few students who love working with children during the Fall of 2025, Spring of 2026, and/or Summer of 2026 at the Early Childhood Lab. Required License/Registration/CertificationApplicant must have a current negative TB test (within the last 2 years) or be willing to get one. CPR and 1st aid certification is required within 3 months of employment. All employees must have a finger print background check. This will be done when applicants are offered the job.Physical RequirementsMust be able to pick up children weighing up to 40 pounds, push strollers and be able to get up and down from the floor several times a day. The children also go outside at least 2 times each day. Teachers go outside with children.ShiftThe ECL opens at 7:00a.m. and closes at 5:30.p.m.Job SummaryJob duties of a student worker at the ECL include playing with and supervising young children, helping classroom teachers with cleaning and organizing, assisting with daily routines, reading to children, and going to the playground and walks around campus.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesWe are hoping to employ students who are professional, and understand the importance of coming to work during their planned schedules.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
