The Mechanical Engineering Department within the College of Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA, invites applications for Full Time Lecturers of Mechanical Engineering during the academic year of 26/27 with possibility of a one-year extension contingent upon budget, department need, and satisfactory evaluations. Primary duties will be teaching fundamental courses in Mechanical Engineering, such as engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mechanical design, or design communication. Candidates with industry experience are encouraged to apply.  Appointment start date is August 17, 2026.
