| Job Summary | The University of Kentucky, College of Nursing Undergraduate Program is seeking a Lecturer Title Series (tenure-ineligible) Lecturer. This position is a 9-month appointment (August 16th- May 15th) with an anticipated distribution of effort of about 90% Teaching and Advising, and 10% Professional Development and Service to the College of Nursing which will be reviewed annually. We anticipate a start date of no later than January 1, 2026, and an earlier start date can be negotiated. This posting will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed as received. This position, based in Lexington, KY, onsite, and will assist and resource the Undergraduate and Graduate programs within the College of Nursing. This position requires an individual to provide teaching, advising, and mentoring of students in coursework offered in the clinical simulation learning center and UK clinical enterprise. This candidate will contribute to scholarly practice and advancing nursing professionalism. Candidate will design, implement and evaluate curriculum offered in the Clinical Simulation Learning Center. They will plan and evaluate student experiences and provide experience in clinical simulation with low- and high-fidelity simulators. The required education and experience include an earned master's degree in nursing. Doctorate or PhD in nursing preferred. Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education preferred, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Successful teaching experience in clinical simulation with low and high-fidelity simulators is preferred. An active unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse and a minimum of 2 years of related professional clinical practice nursing experience as a BSN prepared nurse within the last 5 years is required.
