| Job Summary | The Family Sciences Lecturer will have academic training in family science, with expertise that intersects with one or more of the Department's programmatic areas of emphasis: human development and/or family and relationship processes, and/or consumer economics. General expectations include supporting the instructional needs of both departmental undergraduate majors, serving as the Director of Undergraduate Studies, and participation in departmental and collegiate governance. This is a 12-month lecturer position in the Lecturer Title Series, without eligibility for tenure. Renewal is contingent upon the individual's performance and accomplishments. The successful candidate will typically teach seven courses per year, with an anticipated distribution of effort being approximately 80% teaching/mentoring, 15% administration, and 5% service.
