D-26-ECO-00008 | Faculty | Economics
The Economics Department at Princeton University may have an occasional curricular need for lecturers to teach or advise in areas such as Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, Industrial Organization, Applied Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and Behavioral Economics, and accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such lecturers are needed. Any appointments may be for one or two semesters during the 2026-2027 academic year. Appointment duty time would depend on student enrollments, and appointments may be renewable depending on departmental need.
An advanced degree is required. Please provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching interest, and contact information for one reference. No letters of recommendation are required until the interview stage. Applications will be reviewed based on curricular need, and the Department may not review all applications it receives. Expected Salary Range: $81,700 - $150,000
The University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, work experience, education/training, key skills, market, collective bargaining agreements as applicable, and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The posted salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate for a full-time position; salaries for part-time positions are pro-rated accordingly.
