About the Position:
The Manager of Special Education Programs provides leadership, professional development, and program management for assigned Special Education programs and staff supervision. Successful candidates will have expertise in evidence-based practices in assessment and instruction, program evaluation, and special education law.
This position begins the 2026-27 school year. Start date is July 1, 2026.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in one (1) of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field;
- Three (3) or more years of work experience in a school setting in one (1) or more of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field.
Licenses/Special Requirements:
Valid Washington State Principal or Administrator Certification (or provide proof of enrollment in the certification program within one (1) year of hire date).
