Description
NURSING FACULTY (OPEN RANK) ANATOMY LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our faculty as a school of nursing excellence within an academic health sciences center environment. Our nursing faculty have the opportunity to educate future nurses at the BSN, MN/MSN, PhD and DNP level, including state-of-art simulation laboratories; conduct nursing & interdisciplinary research; engage in faculty practice, including our nurse-run clinics; pursue entrepreneurial and consultative activities; and serve as a nursing leader and development of leadership skills through our Emergent Nurse Leader Program. We invite you to submit your curriculum vitae for the following faculty position: Anatomy Faculty. Incumbent will provide instructional and educational cadaveric laboratories at our Off Campus Instructional Site: Baton Rouge, under the direction of our Off-Campus Instructional Site: Baton Rouge Director. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in Anatomy, Cell Biology, or related Applied Sciences. Doctorate Degree required for the rank of Assistant Professor or above. Ability to effectively manage a cadaveric laboratory environment with careful attention to details and safety; Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications relevant to academic didactic & laboratory environment. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree Ability to lead and mentor students and colleagues and foster a collaborative academic environment.
