Position Description:

The Department of Bioengineering at the University of Louisville is seeking applications for a Part-Time Lecturer position starting Fall 2026.

We are looking for a highly qualified educator and researcher with a strong background in neuroscience and EEG signal analysis to teach graduate-level courses in the Bioengineering program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in EEG signal acquisition, processing, and analysis
• Prior teaching or instructional experience at the graduate level (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality education

Responsibilities:

• Teach one or more graduate-level courses in neuroscience and EEG-related topics
• Develop and deliver course materials aligned with program objectives
• Mentor and support graduate students in coursework and research components
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum alignment and academic excellence
