The Passenger Vehicle Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of faculty, staff and students. The position ensures reliable service while delivering courteous and reliable experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates University Shuttle Vehicle/ ADA Vehicle on demand rides in a safe and courteous manner
• Transport passengers requiring ADA accommodation using wheelchair accessible. Assist passengers with boarding and existing as needed ensuring a positive and secure experience. Follow all university transportation policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior as assigned.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the University in a professional manner
• Refuel vehicle as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years' previous driving experience. Candidate must be able to meet and maintain VU driving privileges as outlined by Villanova's Risk Management's Motor Vehicle Record Policy for Driver's of University Vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:

• Must be able to drive for an extended period of time.
• Must be physically capable of assisting passengers, to include assisting wheelchair bound passengers while boarding and exiting the vehicle.

The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity.Salary Band:10Job Classification:non-exempt
