The University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in theoretical particle physics phenomenology within the Pittsburgh Particle Physics, Astrophysics, and Cosmology Center (PITT PACC, http://www.pittpacc.pitt.edu/). The group includes faculty members Brian Batell, Ayres Freitas, Tao Han, Samuel Homiller, and Adam Leibovich, as well as several postdocs and graduate students. The successful candidate is expected to conduct cutting-edge scholarly research in particle physics theory and phenomenology and to contribute to PITT PACC activities.
The position is funded initially for one year and housed within the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh, working with Drs. Tao Han, Ayres Freitas, Adam Leibovich, and collaborators. The position may be extended pending funding and performance. Start date is as soon as practicable, preferably by September 1, 2026.
Required: A PhD in theoretical high-energy physics
