The Senior Associate Registrar serves as the manager for all operational activities in the registrar's office, including customer service, class scheduling, registration, routine data reporting, and communications to students, faculty and other University constituents. This position is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, evaluation, testing, and upgrades of registrar systems, and related integrations including the student records system in Banner, advisement in Degree Works, the course grid, and the Academic Catalog. In collaboration with University Events office, the Senior Associate Registrar manages the activities, processes, and timelines related to May Commencement. Works with the Assistant Registrar to manage all class scheduling, course builds, routine classroom management needs, and classroom assignments. Responds to data requests from the student record system. Manages the registrar customer service window including staffing and identifying improvement and efficiencies in day-to-day operations. Supports graduation clearance, transfer credit, and major-minor inquiries.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years' progressive experience in the field of higher education in a Registrar's Office or higher education administrative office.
- Experience using a student information system, working knowledge of Ellucian Banner and Degree Works preferred.
- Demonstrated MS Office knowledge, including proficiency in Excel required; experience with advance reporting tools preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and a service orientation.
- Demonstrated success in change management related to operational activities and processes.
- Ability to effectively develop relationships across operational units as the basis for a collaboration and innovation.
- Be able to work independently and use good judgment.
- Be able to think analytically and critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Additional Information:
Expected Hiring Range: $81,600 to $90,750

The compensation for this position will be determined based on factors that include available budget, internal equity, and the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related credentials. This range represents Clark University's good-faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting consistent with Clark's compensation philosophy and internal alignment.
