Description
The Department of Computer Science at Middle Tennessee State University invites passionate educators and researchers to apply for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#137110) at the rank of assistant or associate professor. As a Carnegie R2 institution, we seek a dynamic individual to inspire students through excellent teaching and build a vigorous, externally funded research program that actively engages undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants are invited from all areas of computer science, but applicants with a background in quantum computing, cybersecurity, or game design are highly encouraged to apply.
The Department offers a BS with four concentrations: Professional Computer Science (ABET-accredited), Business Applications, Cybersecurity Systems, and Artificial Intelligence, and an MS in Computer Science. The department serves over 500 undergraduate and graduate majors and is closely tied to the Computational and Data Sciences PhD program.
