LOCATION: Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School
SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience
DURATION: Full-time (46-week school year position) 3-year grant
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee grant implementation to ensure project goals, objectives, and milestones are achieved within timelines and budget;
Maintain internal and external controls following rules, policies and procedures of the tribe and grant NOFA;
Ensure GEPA requirements are met;
Oversee curriculum development and implementation plans of the special needs, middle and high school Pathways: automotive, home maintenance, entrepreneurship;
- Ensuring state and cultural standard and all the relevant incorporations are being met in the program
- Review weekly curriculum
Manage finances, time, and human resources in close collaboration with administration and finance department.
Coordinate program efforts with collaboration partners and all stakeholders;
Manage Two-way communication with feedback loops to ensure open and responsive communication with all stakeholders;
Monitor and report progress to collaborating partners and all stakeholders;
Ensure accuracy and timely filing of all reports;
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Education - preferred;
BA/BS Degree required in Education or related field;
Certified teacher or school administrator (or able to obtain) - preferred;
At least 2 years of experience in curriculum building preferred;
Documented successful experience working with native students and communities;
Successful grant management experience.
