Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the office and perform administrative duties, including answering and directing phone calls, monitoring the Registrar's Department email, ordering and maintaining office supplies and materials (including transcript paper), and supporting the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- Process transcript requests.
- Register students.
- Process drop and add forms.
- Process enrollment verifications and in-school deferments.
- Enter AIC holds.
- Process name and address changes.
- Manage the change of major process.
- Train and supervise student workers.
- Process the Apostille documents for international students.
- Maintain a continual knowledge of all degrees offered and the course requirements for each program.
- Other duties as determined by the Registrar.
Cross-Departmental Duties
- Assist with the entry of the Master Class Schedule.
- Assist with the residency reclassification process.
- Assist in marking student's deceased in the system.
- Other duties determined by the Registrar.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in office-related work.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Desired:
- Master's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague or a similar student information system (SIS).
