Job Summary

The Agribusiness Faculty member provides instruction in agricultural business, management, and economics to prepare students for careers in agribusiness, production agriculture, ag service, and related industries. This position emphasizes practical application of agribusiness concepts, including agricultural finance, marketing, farm management, and decisionmaking in realworld agricultural contexts. The faculty member teaches courses that integrate business principles with agricultural systems, helping students understand the financial, managerial, and economic factors that influence agricultural enterprises. Instruction supports students' ability to analyze financial information, manage risk, and make informed business decisions in a changing agricultural economy.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agriculture education business, finance, economics or marketing.

Occupational Experience Requirement

• Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified-related paid work experience in agribusiness.

Recency Requirement

• One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
