Description
The Department of Chemistry at Sam Houston State University is growing and seeks to hire three tenure-track faculty members in physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and related or multidisciplinary areas of chemistry. We are seeking a Ph.D. in Chemistry, preferably with post-doctoral experience whose duties will include establishing a vigorous, externally fundable research program; mentoring and supervising undergraduate and graduate research students; and delivering excellent, engaging instruction in courses aligned with the candidate’s expertise. Requirements
The successful candidates will contribute to the department’s ACS-certified B.S. in Chemistry, B.S. in Forensic Chemistry, and M.S. in Chemistry programs through undergraduate and graduate instruction, thesis advising, and graduate student recruitment.
