Description
The Department of Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Weed Science (EPPWS) at New Mexico State University (NMSU) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Nematology. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position. The appointment is 85% research and 15% teaching.
The successful candidate will develop a creative, collaborative, extramurally funded research program focused on plant-parasitic nematode interactions across New Mexico's agricultural to urban ecosystems. Teaching responsibilities will include Nematology and the potential to develop new courses depending on expertise (e.g., Soil Ecology), as well as supervision of graduate students.

Requirements
A Ph.D. in Nematology, Plant Pathology, or related biological science. Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
