Description
The School of Management (SOM) at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Associate Professor level starting mid-August 2027, subject to budgetary approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic leadership for the proposed undergraduate program in Asset Management.
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in asset management, investments, and related areas.
- Support the professional development and career placement of students in the Asset Management program, including engagement with employers and industry professionals.
- Maintain an active, high-quality research program with the expectation of publishing in leading finance and related academic journals.
- Contribute to the school, university, and profession through service, including active participation in committees, shared governance program assessment, and other appropriate professional activities.
The salary and benefits package for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Please note, the School of Management also has an opening for an Advanced Assistant Professor for the proposed Asset Management program.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field.
- A track record of scholarly research in Asset Management.
