Education Law/Charter School Law Attorney
Boston law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP, a premier boutique firm, is seeking an experienced associate to join its thriving education practice. The firm provides legal services to nonprofit, for-profit and public clients operating in the areas of education, real estate development and finance, affordable housing, health and human services, civil litigation and employment.
Qualified candidates will have several years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent writing skills, a superior work ethic, the ability to respond to client demands efficiently and practically, and a passion for making a difference. Experience with special education, including practice before the Bureau of Special Education Appeals, and employment matters, is highly desirable. Massachusetts bar membership or the ability to waive in is required.
In our education practice, we provide services to the full spectrum of organizations involved in education reform, including Commonwealth and Horace Mann public charter schools and their mission-affiliated organizations, nonprofit educational management organizations, charter school wrap-around service providers, and teacher training programs. Our education attorneys also represent independent schools, including private special education schools.
The salary range for this position, which will be determined based on a candidate’s relevant experience and productivity, is $110,000 to $165,000.
