The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time clinical-track faculty member in Clinic Administration. The position is available August 3, 2026; screening begins immediately.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

DDS/DMD from a CODA/CDAC-accredited institution; and

Licensed to practice in the State of Iowa, or eligible for a Faculty Permit, issued by the Iowa Board of Dentistry.

Desirable qualifications:

Advanced education certificate/degree with strong interest in general dentistry;

Experience with extraction and root canal therapy;

Clinical teaching experience;

Private practice experience;

Experience triaging patients in a dynamic clinical environment; and

Experience with electronic health record.

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
