Description
Provides operational, supervisory, and programmatic leadership within the Health Education & Wellness Unit at McKinley Health Center. Reporting to the Director of Health Education, supervises assigned professional staff, graduate assistants, and student workers; supports the operational infrastructure of the unit; and contributes meaningfully to the design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, equity-centered health education programming.Provides operational, supervisory, and programmatic leadership within the Health Education & Wellness Unit at McKinley Health Center. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, Health Promotion, or a closely related field. A total of three (3) years (36 months) in education, training and/or work experience in health education, health promotion, or a related field. Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, and/or coordinating the work of professional staff.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Public Health, Social Work, Nutrition, Nursing or related area.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate health education programs or initiatives.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to equity, access, and student-centered health promotion.
