The DeForest Area School District is seeking an inspiring, student centered, and equity focused administrator to become the leader of DeForest Area High School in the growing community of DeForest, Wisconsin. DASD staff collaborate with students, families, and the community to create a supportive and engaging educational experience for all learners. DeForest is a growing suburban community located approximately 10 miles northeast of Madison. We are a district of approximately 4,000 students with a high school enrollment of nearly 1,200 students. We are committed to continuous improvement, grounded in our community's mission and vision for our schools.
First Round Interviews will be held on Tuesday, May 19th. Second Round Interviews will be held on Friday, May 22nd.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with education, skills, experience. Twelve-month, two-year contract position.

Requirements
Qualifications:
School Administrative Experience; professional educator experience at the secondary level preferred
Three (3) years successful teaching or related experience
Master's Degree in Educational Administration
Possess and maintain a current Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license for Principal (51).
Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with students, staff, parents and the community.
Ability to create and maintain a learning environment that promotes the success of all students and staff, while fostering a culture of collaboration and inspiration for intellectual, emotional and social growth, motivation, and resilience.
Demonstrated commitment to excellence with equity and cultural competence.
Understanding of the systems that lead to equitable outcomes for all students and creating an inclusive environment for all students.
Training, experience, and expertise in the following areas of education: working within an instructional team, standards-based instruction and assessment, culturally relevant and differentiated instruction, and technology skills to enhance professional learning and instruction.
