Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Manager, Dual Credit and Early College High School Programs is responsible for managing college, high school, and business relations, assisting schools in implementing the infrastructure and systems needed to support a sustainable college preparatory program and culture for all LSC students and prospective students, and to provide college planning curriculum and resources. The Manager, Dual Credit and Early College High School Programs collaborates with Deans, Department Chairs, Dual Credit stakeholders across campuses and the LSC System, and high school personnel to champion the Student Service aspects of Dual Credit programs, ensuring and exceptional experience for all students and partners involved. Assists with the development, implementation, marketing, and evaluation of dual credit. Participates in recruitment efforts and serves as a liaison for the college's Dual Credit program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists campuses and schools in implementing the infrastructure, systems, and culture needed to support a sustainable college preparation/dual credit program
2. Serves as the primary point of contact for LSC campus liaisons and System-level stakeholders on FAST funding, facilitating coordination, communication, and compliance to ensure accurate and timely processing across all Dual Credit programs
3. Maintains knowledge base of trends in college readiness and dual credit programs and monitors state, federal, and system guidelines related to P16 and college readiness to ensure compliance; provides updates to the Office of Academic Affairs and the colleges; researches and implements best practices of innovative dual credit partnerships for continuous improvement
4. Coordinates periodic professional development and campus visits for Dual Credit stakeholders
5. Analyzes Dual Credit data and produces reports required for federal, state, and institutional compliance, translating complex data sets into actionable insights that support program integrity and informed decision-making
6. Collects, organizes, tracks, monitors, and reports student success date for Dual Credit program and Early College High Schools completion and success rates; Compares outcomes to former dual credit students and current students; monitors behavioral records and tracks student complaints as well as student behavior inside and outside of the classroom 7. Acts as the System-wide lead for Dual Credit programs, driving consistency in operations by developing and maintaining business processes, standard operating procedures, and job aids for campus use, ensuring all locations deliver a unified and high-quality Dual Credit experience

8. Acts as a liaison with the Student Services staff to help coordinate recruitment, admissions, and testing at area high schools as well as to develop forms and guidelines for dual credit with home-schooled students
9. Works with Marketing & Communications to develop marketing materials
10. Actively participates as an LSC representative on various committees, meetings, and conferences
11. Participates in the strategic planning process by making recommendations for new and/or revised policies and procedures. Supports the College enrollment management goals for recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students
12. Oversees compliance requirements related to Dual Credit, resolving issues within the scope of the position and escalating complex or higher-level issues to leadership as appropriate
13. Oversees the review of FAST eligible students to include assigning FAST book advances and collaborating with LSC stakeholders to submit FAST students for state reporting
14. Oversees Student Service related functions to maintain consistency and support across all campuses to include advising, registration and admissions
15. Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
Heavy travel across school districts in service area
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary
Hiring salary range is: $54,528 - $62,707
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
