- MATH TEACHER
Description
We seek a Math Teacher for the upcoming school year.
The teaching load is 4 or 5 classes, and the levels are TBD based on the candidate’s experience and the needs of our current students. This position requires living in a faculty apartment in one of the dorms. In addition to teaching, all faculty serve as advisors to a group of 7 students, have one night of study hall/dorm duty, weekend responsibilities every third weekend, and assist with sports or other activities in the afternoon for one or two seasons. A bachelor’s degree in math is preferred.

Skills and Abilities Required
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in math or equivalent math coursework.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with attention to both tasks and people.
- Strong technology skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in a residential boarding school environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and persevere.
- Ability to engage learners in the subject area and serve as a role model.
- Demonstrate empathy, respect, and trustworthiness.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
