Teaching Position Announcement

CERTIFIED POSITION
Garfield School District is seeking to fill a 1.0 FTE Middle School English Teacher (ELA) starting the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications
- Must have Washington Teaching Certification/Substitute Certification.
- K-8 or 4-12 English endorsement preferred.
- Teaching or Student Teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to collaborate as a team member.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and creative.
- Good communication skills (written/verbal)
- Willingness and ability to accept responsibility beyond the regular classroom
duties.
Salary and Benefits
Certified: Salary range $55,294-$103,556. Pay will be based on placement on the salary schedule included in the Certificated Contract. Benefits include: Medical, Dental and Retirement
