Pediatric Pathologist Opportunity – Join a Growing Team at Dayton Children’s Hospital
The Department of Pathology at Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a Pediatric Pathologist to join our growing faculty. All physicians hold faculty appointments with the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of two additional pathologists, a pathology assistant, and experienced laboratory staff. Dayton Children’s Hospital is a 231-bed, free-standing tertiary care children’s hospital and Level I Trauma Center serving patients throughout southwest Ohio and eastern Indiana. The Department provides comprehensive pediatric pathology services, including surgical pathology, autopsy, biopsy, cytology, and on-call services, with approximately 3,000 surgical and 500 cytology specimens annually.
The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology through the American Board of Pathology, with subspecialty certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pathology. Experience in pediatric pathology is preferred; exceptional candidates completing fellowship will also be considered.
