The Center for LGBT Health Research within the School of Pubmic Health at the University of Pittsburgh seek a postdoctoral associate with a Ph.D in public health, social or behavioral sciences, or closely related fields to support a study funded by the Patient-Centered Out Comes Research Institute, which focuses on improving the measurement and conceptualization of organizational trustworthiness in community-academic. In addition, you will support data collection and analysis, and research administration (IRB development and maintenance) on an NIMH-funded study focused on developing a measure assessing early life adversity in SGM population.
It is expected that the Postdoctoral Associate will publish 2-3 papers a year, co-author with Center faculty, and attend regular mentorship/Center meetings. The Candidate should possess the capability of leading data collection and analysis efforts with oversight from project leadership and senior staff. Requires working knowledge of qualitative analysis software (e.g., Nvivo, Dedoose). Experience and proficiency with qualitative data collection and analysis. Experience with developing and implementing study protocols. Experience with REDCap or other survey software. Experience with grant writing, training, and supervising others to conduct qualitative research
