Carilion Clinic and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine are seeking a full-time Ambulatory Psychiatrist to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Your impact
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Manage medications and coordinate care with a collaborative team of specialists
- Engage in teaching and mentorship of learners across multiple levels
- Contribute to high-quality, compliant documentation and continuity of care
What you bring
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN)
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
