Description
The Rutgers Center for Psychiatric Health and Genomics (CPHG) is seeking Research Faculty members to lead our data infrastructure and biorepository operations. These leaders will serve as the primary liaison between CPHG and national resource centers, ensuring our research in Neurodevelopment, Population Genetics, and Serious Mental Illness is supported by seamless data and sample integration. Further, the Director of Clinical Informatics will also lead the IRB functions for the center and EHR applications.
Core Responsibilities
External Liaison: Manage the strategic and operational relationship with the NIMH Cell/DNA Repository and the National Data Archive (NDA) to ensure compliant data sharing and sample acquisition.
Local Biobank Oversight: Manage the local CPHG biobank, overseeing sample processing, storage protocols, and distribution for interdisciplinary research teams.
Data Governance: Manage the integration of genomic and clinical datasets, implementing robust management systems that align with NIH data-sharing mandates.
Academic Leadership: Contribute to the Department of Psychiatry through teaching, mentoring
Manage the Internal Review Board oversight of Center projects
Contribute to research reports and analyses as appropriate

Requirements
Education: PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience: Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale biorepositories and complex genomic databases.
Leadership: Experience and ability manage high-level partnerships with federal data and tissue repositories.
Experience working with EHR and large health systems
