South Williamsport Area School District is accepting applications for the following positions. Deadline for all positions is Thursday, July 9, 2026.

ELEMENTARY SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHING POSITIONS This position is a full-time position with benefits per union contract.

FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE POSITION This first shift position will work Monday through Friday from 6:30AM - 3:00PM and include benefits per union contract. Requirements for this position include basic skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and grounds keeping. Starting wage will be assessed according to the skill level presented.

PARAPROFESSIONALS - MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE The District has multiple paraprofessional positions available for the 2026-2027 school year. Hours vary from 6.0 - 6.5 hours per day based on position.

Applicants must possess an eagerness to assist with support students with special needs, work collaboratively with all professional staff, and participate in additional tranings as required. Position follows the school day/school year calendar. Hourly rate is $17.74 per union contract. Benefits not included.

LUNCHROOM MONITOR 3 hours per day at Central Elementary School. Staring rate is $17 per hour as per union contract. Will be responsible for assisting students and monitoring student behaviors while in the cafeteria.
