Description

Our clients are seeking Substitute Teachers to work in schools in the Bridgeport, CT and surrounding areas.
Multiple opportunities for daily sub and long-term substitute teachers for grades K-12 are available.

* Regular school hours

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Follows the lesson plans left by the teacher for whom he/she is substituting in accordance with district's philosophy, goals and objectives.
* Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom where assigned.
* Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
* Maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
* Models non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
* Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, or parent/guardian in any public setting.
* Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and School Board policies.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Teaching experience preferred
* Bachelor's degree
* Fingerprint & background check, able to pass Child Clearance and Act 16-67
* Copy of highest Level of Education
* Current Resume
