Job DescriptionLEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Department of Accounting invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027.
The individual hired will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in department, college, and university service.
The Department of Accounting provides students with outstanding accounting education and networking opportunities and advances the accounting profession by producing leading accounting research and interdisciplinary scholarship. We prepare students to enter the accounting profession upon graduation, assume positions of leadership in the global business community later in their careers, and be socially responsible and ethical business professionals. The department is accredited in Accounting by the AACSB and places a strong emphasis on inclusion and belonging in teaching and scholarship. Qualifications
Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related field from an accredited institution by the date of employment, and a demonstrated ability or potential for high-quality research and teaching in accounting.

- Teaching statement that describes instructional philosophy and courses that the candidate would want to teach or develop
