Description

The district is accepting immediate applications for a Transition to Kindergarten Teacher with priority given to applications that evidence professional training and personal commitment to the whole range of primary learner.    

All prospective employees being considered for employment will be required to complete a satisfactory background review as a condition of employment. The background review includes:  endorsement and certification checks to hold the position, evidence of physical, mental, and emotional health to meet the daily demands of the job, no convictions of sexual predator or child abuse laws of the state, investigation with prior employers, and evidence of being free from drug dependency. Requirements

Applicants must possess or be able to obtain before the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, a Washington state teaching certificate with an early childhood education or elementary education endorsement.
